"Tangalia"/"Dana" work is a 700-year-old craft from Gujarat. the technique involves weaving knots in colors contrasting to the warp color to create the effect of raised dots. The effect of the pattern also has a feel similar to braille script, because of the raised surface of the dots. This has become the signature style of the textile. This is a rare craft only found in few areas of Gujarat.
